Questions we hear a lot
What counts as an employee?
Anyone active in your company with a login, including you as the owner. Inactive or archived employees don't count, and neither do guest drivers.
What counts as an asset?
Every truck, trailer, and piece of equipment in your account. Archive a unit you've sold or retired and it stops counting.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Move up when you add trucks or dispatchers, or move down if you need less.
Is there a contract?
No. Billing is monthly and you can cancel anytime.
Do guest drivers count as employees?
No. Guest drivers are part of the Dispatch plan and don't count toward your employee total.
Do partner companies need their own subscription?
Yes. Partner companies run their own Key App account, so their drivers and trucks are counted on their account, not yours.
Does the mobile app cost extra?
No. The iPhone and Android apps are included in every plan.
Is my data secure and private?
Your company's data is kept private and separate from every other company on Key App. Role-based permissions decide who on your team sees what, and partners only see what you choose to share.
